Mission

The WBAIS development program was created in order to help supplement the costs associated with the high standard of education that we maintain at AIS.  The revenue from tuition does not provide sufficient income for all the school’s programs therefore the development office subsidizes student and faculty activities and projects through fundraising efforts both on and off campus.

The development office oversees the Annual Fund, the Capital Fund and the Alumni Affairs. It is managed by the Development Director, the Public Relations Director , the Alumni Affairs Coordinator and the Development Committee.  These in turn report to the Superintendent and the School Board.  It is because of  donors from our community that we are able to continue in the tradition of excellence and innovation.

The support afforded to AIS through the various development campaigns allows us to continue to succeed in encouraging our students to be responsible world citizens.  It is our hope that these experiences will last a lifetime and will encourage them, like those that have come before them, to be ambassadors of goodwill for Israel and AIS.

Annual Fund

AIS Annual Fund is designed to help enhance the programs offered by the school.  The monies raised in this fund are spent in the same year to help offset the costs of many programs offered through the school.

The community efforts through individual donations, special events and fundraisers help to provide an increasingly stimulating environment for our students and community. We help offset the costs or completely fund projects such as:

Student Leadership programs at all school levels

Student council activities

Virtual Science Fair

Athletic sponsored special  events

Arts and Music programs

Model United Nations

Bedouin Outreach programs

Cultural Trips

Special projects sponsored by the students and/or faculty

Our goal in 2009-10 is to increase our funding through donations from families, as well as increase participation in our community fundraisers. We hope the funds raised will truly make a difference to our school wide programs.

We have a committee that meets quarterly to disperse these funds to the organizations sponsoring different events. The committee is made up of students, teachers, administrators, PTA members and board members.

Let’s help them help our community by giving them the resources to make these events happen! Capital Campaign

On the 50th anniversary of AIS, we opened the doors to a new chapter in our history –  AIS Even-Yehuda. Our new campus is the best that there is for our students and we hope to  continue to offer them many opportunities to expand as individuals.  These experiences, whether they encompass the student’s entire school career or only a portion of it, will make wonderful memories.  AIS will reamin with them for a lifetime, making them future ambassadors of the school and also of Israel. Isn’t this a good investment?

There are many ways that you can help --we need your help!  Through corporate partnerships, individual donations and sponsorships and special events, we hope to continue to maintain  AIS Even-Yehuda -  our  "dream school"!

We are off to a great start.  Anyone wishing to support the school can  sponsor theatre seats, garden plots, tennis courts, books in the library or simply make a donation!

You can make a difference – be a part of our children's future!
