Mrs. Marsha Aaronson, Superintendent

Marsha Aaronson was appointed Middle School Principal at the American International School in 2001 and in 2005 assumed the Superintendency. Mrs. Aaronson has also been in US and international education for the past 35 years serving as Principal of South Kingstown Junior High School, Assistant Principal of South Kingstown High School, and a guidance counselor at the American Community School in Athens and the Community School in Tehran. She graduated with a BA from the University of Rhode Island, has a Master’s Degree in Counseling from the University of Connecticut, and advanced studies in administration at various universities. Marsha and her husband Phil who works in the library are avid travelers who are delighted to continue their stay at AIS and look forward to meeting all of you and welcoming you to our campus.

Ms. Aaronson serves on all the sub-committees of the board.
