Hi, my name is Daniele De Bernardin. I’m Italian, 18 years old, and this is my fourth year at AIS. Before attending AIS, I lived in many other countries, precisely, four years in Paris (France), four in Ottawa (Canada) and six in Rome (Italy).

What can I say, this is my third year in this program…and I simply love it. I joined MUN last winter under pressure of my dear history teacher and, I have to say..I’m glad that she forced my into this because I really am proud of being in MUN, I find it one of the most complete programs I’ve ever been to.

So far I attended three oversea conferences BERMUN 2004 (in Berlin) representing India in the Political Committee, SPIMUN 2006 (St Petersburg), and Qatar MUN in 2007. I have been in TIMEMUN conferences thrice. Once I was Human Rights delegate for PNA, I was chair for the Disarmament Committee in 2006, and in 2007 I was President of the Security Council. It was my first chairing experience, and I’m really looking forward to chair some more.

This year I will be President of the General Assembly, and I hope that it will be a great experience that will help me become a more complete delegate. So, hoping to see you all at this year’s TIMEMUN, take care….and be prepared!!
