Trade and Development

Hello, my name is Romil Shah and I’m seventeen years old. I was born in India and a few months later I came to Israel and have been here since then. I’ve been going to this school since kindergarten. I started MUN when I was in 9th grade and have continued with it since then. In the ninth grade I participated in the TIMEMUN conference as the Palestinian National Authority. I continued the MUN program in 10th grade and went to Paris with the school and participated in the PAMUN program as Vietnam and later that year I participated in the TIMEMUN conference as the United Kingdom. After following through as a strong delegate during my first two years, I felt that I had enough of being a delegate and decided to apply for a chair position and got the position. Getting the position as a chair, I became the chair of Trade and Development and the chair for the same committee this year. I’ve always had an interest for issues regarding business, trade etc. which had driven me to become a chair for the same committee again. I’m really excited to hear what you guys have to say about the issues according to country’s views and I look forward to working with you.
