Hello. My name is Ariella Lehmann. I have lived in Ra'anana since I moved to Israel in 1999 from New York. I am currently a senior at the Israeli Arts and Science Academy (IASA, for short), which is a dorm school in Jerusalem, where I major in humanities. I like to read (novels and history) and talk (politically correct for arguing about anything and everything during lunch hour). I have participated in debating clubs, both in English and in Hebrew. Last year I "discovered" MUN and attended two conferences (in English and in Hebrew) as delegate of Venezuela and of Iran in the human rights and disarmament committees, respectively. Although my MUN history is relatively short, I decided to try out for chair of disarmament, so here I am. I like disarmament because you really get to see diplomacy at work during the substantial arguments and radically different policies.
Feel free to contact me about any of the issues (or just to talk, albeit virtually) at ariellaleh@gmail.com, and I'll be happy to get back to you as soon as I can!
