Global Classrooms® is a program of the United Nations Association of the United States of America (UNA-USA). Its goal is to provide quality global education to students around the world through innovative, dynamic and informative educational materials. Through Global Classrooms, student study global issues and take part in Model United Nations— an academic experience that allows participants to role-play as ambassadors from UN member states. Student delegates write position papers, negotiate with others, address committees through speeches and caucusing, and navigate the UN’s rules of procedure. Global Classrooms is offered in cities across the United States and around the world thanks to the global sponsorship of Merrill Lynch Foundation.
